Varsity soccer fell to Sycamore Thursday evening in the home opener. The Panthers started the game strong and created many opportunities in the first 20 minutes of the match but just couldn't find the back of the net. Sycamore got their feet under them and started challenging but the half ended 0-0. The Aves came out strong in the second half finding 2 quick goals. Gus Woodrum who received a cross from Brady Scott got Springboro back within 1 with 26' left in the game. Sycamore went up 3-1 midway through the second half. Then Grant Perry once again put the Panthers within one at 3-2 with the assist by Luke Crowley with 12' remaining in the match. Sycamore ended up with another goal late in the match to finish 4-2. Graham Kaskey ended the night with 6 saves. Springboro dropped to 1-1 on the season. Huge thank you to the Blue Crew for supporting us!
