Springboro soccer traveled to Northmont Tuesday night for a GWOC matchup that found the Panthers come away with a 6-0 victory. Springboro was on point most of the night with quality play that found 3 goals in a 5 minute span in the first half. With 29' left in the first half, Grant Perry found Brady Koncal to put the Panthers up 1-0. Less than 2 minutes later, Kane fall played a nice ball to find Rowen Arnold who made the match 2-0. Three minutes after that, Rowen Arnold found his second goal of the night on a ball from Brady Koncal. The match was 3-0 at half but Springboro wasn't finished. Early in the second half, Rowen Arnold scored his third goal of the match (his 4th hattrick on the season) on a pass from Grant Perry. Midway through the second half, Jacob Orlow shot the ball and it hit off of the Northmont defender for an own goal. With 10' left to play, Luke Crowley got on the board with a nice goal on a cross from Kane Fall to cap off the scoring. Josh Gandee collected 4 saves on the night. Springboro improves to 8-1-1 (4-0-0 in GWOC) on the season, and returns to play Thursday September 18th on the road versus a very good Lakota West team for a 7:15p kickoff.
