Springboro soccer traveled to Little Miami on Saturday afternoon and came away with a 3-1 victory. The Panthers had good possession but the speed of play was off and led to Little Miami getting on the board first putting Springboro in a 0-1 deficit 13' into the match. Springboro battled back and found the equalizer with 8' left to play in the first half on a long throw in by Ben Page who found James Wirsch for his first varsity goal. With 3' left in the first half, the Panthers found the go ahead goal when Grant Perry shot the ball off the post and found Luke Crowley for the put away. The speed of play and possession was better in the second half for Springboro which created one way traffic for most of the half and the Panthers found their third goal of the game on a nice through ball from Rowen Arnold who found Kane Fall for the goal. Xavier May collected 3 saves on the day. Springboro improves to 11-2-2 (6-1-0 in GWOC) on the season and returns home for the final regular season game on Tuesday, October 14th vs Anderson with a 7:15p kickoff.
