The Lady Panthers golf team turned in an incredible performance at the State Tournament this past weekend at the prestigious Firestone Golf Course in Akron, OH!
After Day 1 on Sunday, the Panthers were tied for 6th place with a team score of 329, led by Elise Dunkle's impressive round of 74. With determination and focus heading into Day 2, the team followed up with a strong 327 - securing a 7th place finish overall and setting a new 36-hole team record of 656!
Day 2 saw standout rounds from Elise Dunkle and Kinsley Brown, who each carded a 77. Mickaela Grieshop added in an 86 and seniors Ari Lietzow and Payton Bailey shot 87 to close out the tournament.
But the Panthers didn't stop there - Elise Dunkle made history with a 9th place individual finish, the highest ever for a Lady Panther, earning her a well-deserved spot on the 2nd Team All-Ohio roster!
A huge congratulations to the entire team on an outstanding season and a record-breaking finish at State. Way to go, Panthers!
