In a hard-fought regional semifinal matchup, the Seton Saints narrowly defeated the Springboro Lady Panthers 1–0, ending Springboro’s impressive postseason run. Senior goalkeeper Susan Schaff delivered a standout performance, making three spectacular saves to keep the game within reach and showcasing the grit that defined the Panthers’ season.
Springboro concludes its 2025 campaign with a 16–3–1 record, including nine shutouts and a second consecutive District Championship. The team demonstrated resilience, tactical discipline throughout the year.
A Heartfelt Farewell to the Seniors
As the season closes, Springboro bids farewell to five exceptional seniors whose leadership and talent shaped the team’s identity:
Susan Schaff – A cornerstone in goal, her clutch saves, and calm presence anchored the defense all season.
Ellie Ulrich – A midfield maestro and set-piece specialist, she delivered key assists and goals, including a memorable brace on Senior Night.
Hailey Burns – A dynamic playmaker and scorer, Burns consistently created chances and finished with precision.
Morgan DeMoss – A relentless forward with vision and power, DeMoss was instrumental in many of Springboro’s biggest wins.
Addison Ramby – A defensive stalwart whose tenacity and leadership helped secure multiple clean sheets.
Their contributions on and off the field leave a lasting legacy, and the entire Springboro community thanks them for their dedication, sportsmanship, and excellence.
