The Springboro Panthers were victorious in their home opener this past Tuesday night vs. Little Miami by a score of 55-32. The game started out in fast paced style of play with the score at the end of the 1st quarter being 17-15 in favor of the Panthers. Over the next 3 quarters of play, Springboro held Little Miami to just 17 points total. The Panthers were led by Brady Gutmann who had a double double with 20 points and 10 steals. The 10 steals in a game tied a 48 year old record that was held by Keith Crocker and was set in 1977. Sophomore Zeke Doliboa added 12 points. Matt Meek, Cam McGlothen and Daniel Rinehard all had 5 rebounds on the night. Springboro will be back at home on Friday night vs. Springfield.
