The Springboro Panthers continued their strong start to the 2026 season Saturday morning, cruising to an impressive three-set victory over the Lebanon Warriors.

Springboro was dominant at the service line, recording 18 aces while serving at an outstanding 91% as a team. Mia DeToto led the way with 5 aces, while Emma Gates added 4 and Soniya Stevenson and Sofia Blackburn each recorded 3. Madison Helton contributed 2 aces, and Reese Aracri added another.

The Panthers also produced a balanced offensive attack. Reese Aracri led all hitters with an impressive 11 kills on 20 attempts, hitting .450 for the match. Alannah Stevenson and Kaylee Breving each added 4 kills, while Soniya Stevenson finished with 4 kills and Arianna Thornton added 4 more. Mia DeToto and Sofia Blackburn contributed 2 kills apiece.
Springboro's defense and net play were equally important in the sweep. Mia DeToto and Soniya Stevenson each recorded 9 digs, while Blackburn added 5 and Aracri contributed 4. The Panthers also totaled 10 team blocks, led by Arianna Thornton with 3 blocks.

With the victory, Springboro moves to 2-0 on the young season, following its four-set season-opening win over Lakota East. The Panthers will look to keep the momentum rolling as they welcome the Firebirds of Lakota West next Saturday, August 29 at 11am. This will be the first home game of the season for the Panthers and they can’t wait to see everyone fill the gym and bring the energy!
