Springboro soccer fell to Lebanon 1-2 Tuesday night at Wade Field. The Panthers had improved play but couldn't come up with a goal in the first half. Lebanon started the scoring on a thru ball to put them up 1-0. This is where the match stayed to halftime. Springboro came out of the locker room with a renewed spirit controlling much of the second half and was able to equalize the match at 1-1 with a thru ball from Brady Scott to find Julian Rowlands who put the ball away early in the second half. With 16' left in the match, Lebanon had a free kick from 60 yards out and a long service resulted in a one touch finish to put Lebanon up 2-1. The Panthers battled to create some dangerous opportunities but just couldn't find the back of the net. Devin Boland collected 1 save on the night. Springboro falls to 1-2-1 on the season and returns to play on the road Thursday, August 27th at Sycamore with a 7:15p kickoff. Thank you to all the students who came to support us last night!!
