The Springboro Lady Panthers traveled to Lebanon on Thursday night to take on the Lebanon Lady Warriors.

Lebanon got on the board first, converting an early awarded penalty kick four minutes into the match to take a 1-0 lead. The Warriors extended their advantage with 15 minutes remaining in the first half, finding the back of the net again to carry a 2-0 lead into the break.

Springboro answered immediately after halftime. Less than a minute into the second half, Alex Elliott found the ball and rifled a shot that was mishandled by the Lebanon goalkeeper. Macy Gill capitalized on the rebound, burying the ball in the back of the net to make it a 2-1 game.

The Panthers continued to battle throughout the second half and tightened up defensively, holding Lebanon scoreless over the final 40 minutes. Despite creating pressure and pushing for the equalizer, Springboro was unable to find a second goal before the final whistle.

Springboro's next game is Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, when the Lady Panthers take on the Fairfield Indians at Fairfield High School. Kickoff is 7:15p.m.
