Springboro soccer returned home for Senior Night on Tuesday evening to come away with a 4-0 win vs Wayne. The Panthers were playing well from the first minute of that match and that paid off 2 minutes into the match when Julian Rowlands found Luke Crowley who put the first goal on the board with a nice finish. Through more quality play, Gus Woodrum shot the ball and deflected off the Wayne goalkeeper to find Chase Cyran on the back post to put Springboro up 2-0 which is where the match was left at the half. The Panthers created more dangerous opportunities in the second half which led to a shot from Ben Pohlabel who beat the Wayne goalkeeper to put Springboro up 3-0. A few minutes later, Ryker Toth finds Julian Rowlands to cap off the scoring on the night for the 4-0 win. Devin Boland collected the shutout and 2 saves on the night. Springboro improves to 6-5-2 (3-2-1 GWOC) and returns to action Thursday, October 8th vs Thurgood Marshall at Wade Field with a 7:15p kickoff.
