The Springboro Panthers varsity volleyball team continued its outstanding start to the season, improving to 7-0 with another impressive victory over the Northmont Thunderbolts.

Springboro’s offense was clicking throughout the match, with contributions from multiple hitters. Reese Aracri led the way with an impressive 12 kills, while Alannah Stevenson added 4. Arianna Thornton, Soniya Stevenson and Kaylee Breving each contributed 3 kills, while Mia DeToto and Avery Oberding added 2 kills apiece. Thorton also added 5 blocks at the net, and was a strong presence all night.

The Panthers also received solid performances from their setters. Emma Gates recorded 14 assists, while Madison Helton added 11 assists, helping keep the offense moving and putting Springboro’s hitters in position to succeed.

Springboro continued to apply pressure from the service line, using aggressive serving to keep Northmont on its heels and create opportunities for the offense. The Panthers had 14 aces on the night, with Reese Aracri and Mia DeToto both leading the way with 4 aces each.

The Panthers’ continued success has been a true team effort, with contributions coming from every area of the court. The combination of strong serving, consistent passing and a balanced attack has helped Springboro remain undefeated through the first seven matches of the season.

The Panthers are 7-0 and continuing to build momentum with every match. The Panthers next match is Thursday, September 17th at home against the Beavercreek Beavers.
JV starts at 5:30, and the varsity is set to begin at 6:45pm.
