The Panthers traveled to Miamisburg Tuesday night to come away with a 2-2 draw. Springboro played well throughout the match creating some dangerous opportunities. Miamisburg got on the board first with a deflection off a Panther which then found a Miamisburg player to put them up 1-0. A few minutes later, Emmett Lockhart finds Julian Rowlands who finished in the corner to level the match at 1-1. Just before the end of the half, Miamisburg finds the back of the net to go up 2-1 at halftime. The second half saw the majority of the game in Springboro's attacking half creating more good chances which resulted in a penalty kick with 27' left in the match. Brady Scott converted the penalty to draw the match at 2-2 which is where the match ended. Declan Batner and Devin Boland both collected 2 saves on the night. Springboro moves to 3-4-1 on the season (1-1-1 GWOC) and returns to action next Tuesday, September 22nd vs Northmont with a 7:15p kickoff at Wade Field.
